ABOUT
Curriculum Studies is a program that develops student understanding of effective instructional systems and professionalism in teaching at all levels of learning. It makes applications to theorectical foundations in curriculum and instruction. Students acquire skills knowledge and attitudes on how to research design develop implement evaluate and disseminate innovative educational practices in various contexts of learning environments.
Within the department the areas that are covered include:
Undergraduate: Curriculum Development
Masters : Curriculum Theory and practice , curriculum change and innovation, curriculum development in teacher education, curriculum design, curriculum development for non-formal institutions
Doctorial: Philosophy Curriculum and teaching curriculum design and devolopment curriculum evaluation theory and practice,
Curriculum design is to students with knowledge based skills in the field of curriculum leading to research and creation of knowledge.
The program prepares students to become visionary leaders in the area curriculum and instruction.
